This was going to be the tag for our final podcast of the year. I liked it and thought it was funny. But we didn't record it until tonight. Now if it's the only podcast someone listens to they will probably have an extremely boring year. But on DEC 30th. Man that would have been awesome. We're editing now and will post it on the SuperPuppyGang website real soon.

Grey's Anatomy Season 8 Podcast "Free Falling"
I am very excited to announce that Dana and I have posted the first of our Grey's Anatomy podcasts. It's part one of the two-hour season premiere. We'll post part 2 as soon as we can build up our strength to do it again.

Recording this episode taught me a few things right off the bat. First, we can't watch this show (or any of the other shows we plan to cast about) unless we are ready to take notes and give it our full attention. We ended up having to watch it twice. And even after that, Dana had to go back to nab the quotes we wanted for the episode on the annoying ABC website. As a result tension was really high so we got a little snippy with each other. Ah, marriage.
Second, we still haven't figured out the best method to record. We used Skype like we did for the New Girl podcast (which I still need to link to, although you can see it on the SuperPuppyGang website.) And once again, we had to unplug our laptop power cords to eliminate a buzzing feedback. So once again the battery life on Dana's laptop interrupted us mid-record. Another thing we tried at the end of the recording was to share a mic and sit next to each other on the couch. It only sort of worked.
Last thing I learned is the post record work that Dana put into this episode was really really time intensive. I understand it will get better as we figure things out. But it also makes me worried about how we'll manage to stay on track for the rest of the season.

Grey's Anatomy Podcast Announcment
Dana, Barb and I are working on our first podcast. (Maybe, the first of many.) The season premiere of Grey's Anatomy is on September 22nd, so I'll be sure to add details in the next two weeks as they develop.
